Thimphu Tshechu

With the beginning of Thimphu Tshechu the dzongkhag wears a festive mood. Being the capital of the Country, Tshechu in Thimphu has gained much popularity not only with the visitors but also with the youth.

It is usually held during the month of September and October. It is also a time for Bhutanese to display their finest and richest fabrics in form of their National dress; Gho and Kira. Thimphu has many other attractions.
